The Municipality of Southwest Middlesex is pleased to announce the hiring of Ms. Amanda Gubbels as
the new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). Ms. Gubbels will start with Southwest Middlesex on Monday July 29, 2024.
With over eight years of experience as a CAO/Clerk and four years as a Clerk/Deputy CAO, Ms. Gubbels brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in municipal governance, economic development, community engagement and strategic leadership to the CAO role at Southwest Middlesex. This experience will undoubtedly drive the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex forward with continued success and prosperity.
Ms. Gubbels holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Studies and a Master of Arts Degree in Public Policy and Public Administration. In addition, Ms. Gubbels has completed an extensive portfolio of job specific continuing education and is actively involved in leadership in professional organizations. With an exceptional track record in managing diverse municipal projects, Ms. Gubbels is well positioned to support the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex as it adapts to the evolving needs of our community.
