SINGLE VEHICLE COLLISION LEADS TO POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY CHARGES
LUCAN BIDDULPH - Single vehicle collision into hydro pole leads to multiple charges. On July 6, 2025, at 3:56 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a single vehicle collision on Main Street in Lucan, Lucan Biddulph.
Early investigation revealed a pickup truck, towing a trailer, left the roadway and struck a hydro pole, at which time two individuals were observed fleeing from the vehicle. One suspect was located and was placed under arrest. The second suspect was not located.
Further investigation revealed the truck and trailer to be stolen. A snowmobile and an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) within the trailer were also found to be stolen.
As a result, a 43-year-old of Woodstock, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with: Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 - in Canada (four counts), Poss of a Schedule I Substance- Cocaine. The accused was held for bail. The investigation is continuing.

SINGLE VEHICLE ROLLOVER LEADS TO IMPAIRED CHARGE
SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, Driver charged with Impaired after single vehicle collision.
On July 8, 2025, at 7:17 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex London Paramedic Service and local Fire were dispatched to a Melbourne Road in the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex, for a single vehicle rollover. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP Detachment.
As a result, a 61-year-old of Melbourne, has been charged under the Criminal Code with: Operation while impaired - Alcohol, Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus). The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on September 17, 2025.

VEHICLE COLLIDES WITH BUILDING IN KOMOKA
MIDDLESEX CENTRE - Driver charged with Impaired after vehicle collides with a building in Komoka. On July 8, 2025, at 1:58 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex London Paramedic Service and Middlesex Centre Fire were dispatched to a business at 100 Duke Street in Komoka, Municipality of Middlesex Centre, for the report of a vehicle that had collided with a building. Employees were in the building at the time, however no injuries were reported. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP Detachment.
As a result, a 69-year-old of Komoka has been charged under the Criminal Code with: Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus), Dangerous operation. The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on August 27, 2025.

VEHICLE STOLEN IN NORTH MIDDLESEX
NORTH MIDDLESEX - Middlesex County OPP investigating theft of vehicle in North Middlesex. On July 15, 2025, at 1:05 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to McGuffin Hills Drive in North Middlesex for the report of a vehicle that had been stolen. It was determined an unknown individual entered the vehicle and proceeded to steal a maroon, 2013, GMC Sierra pickup truck shortly before the victim called police. The investigation is continuing.

STOLEN VEHICLE FROM PROPERTY IN THAMES CENTRE
THAMES CENTRE - Middlesex County OPP investigating a stolen vehicle from Thames Centre. On July 13, 2025, at 8:27 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a property on Dundas Street in Thames Centre for the report of a stolen vehicle. It was determined an unknown individual(s) entered the property sometime during the overnight hours and proceeded to steal a white, 2014, Dodge Journey. The investigation is continuing.

THEFT OF COPPER VASES FROM CEMETARY IN DORCHESTER
THAMES CENTRE - Middlesex OPP investigating copper vase theft in Dorchester. On July 11, 2025, at 4:01 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a cemetery at the corner of Byron Avenue and Dorchester Road in Dorchester, Municipality of Thames Centre for a theft complaint. An unknown individual(s) entered the property at an unknown time and proceeded to steal copper vases from at least one grave site. The investigation is continuing.
