As we celebrate Small Business Week, I want to take a moment to recognize and thank the incredible entrepreneurs and small business owners of Middlesex–London. These are the people who get up early, work long days, and take risks to provide jobs, support families, and strengthen our local communities.
Small businesses are the backbone of our economy. They create opportunity, spark innovation, and give our towns and cities their character. From the farmers bringing fresh produce to our tables, to local shops, restaurants, and service providers, the work they do matters every single day.
As your Member of Parliament, I am committed to supporting policies that reduce red tape, lower costs, and make it easier for small businesses to thrive. That means advocating for common-sense policies that benefit Canadians like protecting local supply chains and fighting cumbersome regulations that strangle innovation and growth.
To all the small business owners in Middlesex–London: thank you for your dedication, your resilience, and your passion. Your hard work does not go unnoticed. I will continue to fight for a strong, resilient, made in Canada, environment where local businesses can grow, create jobs, and serve our communities for years to come.
