It’s been a busy and rewarding summer across Lambton—Kent—Middlesex, filled with community celebrations and time spent with local leaders and residents. I’m always grateful for these opportunities to connect with you, listen to your ideas, and celebrate the progress we’re making together.
One of the most significant announcements this year has been Ontario’s investment in new housing infrastructure across our riding. With major upgrades to water and wastewater systems in Lucan-Biddulph, Southwest Middlesex, North Middlesex, and Lambton Shores, our communities are now positioned to welcome nearly 3,000 new homes in the years ahead. This means more families choosing to settle here, more businesses supported by local growth, and more opportunities for young people to build their futures close to home.
We’ve also seen important progress in other areas. Local transit services are being expanded to better connect residents in rural areas with jobs, health care, and daily activities. Two arenas in our riding are receiving upgrades that will keep them safe, accessible, and welcoming gathering places for families and athletes. And our long-term care homes are receiving new resources to improve care for seniors, ensuring that older residents are supported with dignity and compassion.
As the Legislature resumes on October 20, I look forward to returning to Queen’s Park with a full agenda. My priority remains bringing the voices of Lambton—Kent—Middlesex to the table and ensuring that rural communities like ours continue to have a strong voice in the decisions that matter most.
Thank you for your continued support and for sharing your thoughts with me — your input guides the work I do every day.
