This week, we shine a spotlight on the small businesses that keep our communities strong and thriving. As the MPP for Lambton–Kent–Middlesex, and as someone who knows the dedication it takes to run a business, I am proud to recognize the incredible impact local entrepreneurs have across our riding.
Small businesses are the heartbeat of our towns and rural areas. They create jobs, fuel local economies, and bring people together. Beyond their economic contributions, they add character and vibrancy to our main streets, helping define who we are as a community.
Over the past few years, we’ve seen firsthand the resilience and determination of our local business owners. Their ability to adapt, grow, and continue serving customers in challenging times is nothing short of inspiring.
I encourage everyone to make a conscious effort to support local—whether it’s shopping at a family-run store, dining at a neighbourhood restaurant, or hiring a local service provider. Every purchase makes a difference.
To all small business owners in Lambton–Kent–Middlesex: thank you for your hard work, innovation, and commitment. Your success is our community’s success.
