Strathroy & District Chamber of Commerce

It’s been a busy and exciting few months for the Strathroy & District Chamber of Commerce! From a fantastic day on the golf course to important updates for the future, there’s lots to celebrate.
Our annual Golf Tournament was a huge hit — a great day of sunshine, laughter, and friendly competition. A big thank-you goes out to everyone who joined us, and especially to our generous sponsors who helped make the event such a success.
In September, we held our Annual General Meeting, where members voted to approve updated by-laws and to apply for a name change to the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce. This change will expand our district to include all of Middlesex County (excluding the City of London) — a move that reflects our ongoing growth and commitment to supporting businesses across the region.
The next step in this exciting transition is to submit our application to the Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada for approval. Once the name and district changes are officially approved, we’ll begin the process of rebranding to reflect our new identity as the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce.
We were also thrilled to welcome our new Board of Directors for the year ahead:

President: Kate Hamze

Vice President: Amanda Barth

Past President: Joel Cann

Secretary: Linda Lamont

Board Members: Tyler Jenner, Brandon Clarke, Vera Docker, Meghan McGill, Brad Richards, Deb Rankin, and Lori Wernham.

As always, we’re proud to be part of the larger network of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, which continues to advocate on behalf of all members — especially those affected by recent tariffs. These are uncertain times for some businesses, and we’re grateful for the ongoing support and leadership shown at the provincial level.
Looking ahead, we’re excited for what’s to come and invite local businesses, entrepreneurs, and community members to join us! Whether you’re looking to connect, collaborate, or simply stay informed about what’s happening in our region, there’s never been a better time to get involved with your Chamber.
Together, we can continue to grow, support, and strengthen our local business community across Middlesex County.
