OPP & ONEIDA POLICE SERVICE ARE SEEKING PUBLIC ASSISTANCE TO LOCATE MISSING PERSON
ONEIDA NATION OF THE THAMES FIRST NATION- The Oneida Police Service and Middlesex County of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking public’s assistance in locating a missing person from Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation. On October 8, 2025, just before 10:00 p.m., members of the Oneida Police Service and Middlesex OPP received a report of a missing person from an address within the community.
Kariya ANTONE, a 15-year-old, was last seen on Dundas Street in London on October 8, 2025, at approximately 9:30 p.m.
Oneida Police Service and Middlesex OPP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating this individual and looking to confirm their well-being.
Kariya is described as: 5’1”, 130 lbs, Brown eyes, Dark brown hair. Last seen wearing a dark blue hooded sweater with yellow “Michigan” lettering, sneakers

The Oneida Police Service and Middlesex OPP is requesting anyone with information to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.

VEHICLE INTO DITCH LEADS TO IMPAIRED CHARGE FOR DRIVER
NORTH MIDDLESEX- Driver facing Impaired driving charge after vehicle leaves road and enters ditch.
On October 8, 2025, at 7:14 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to Townsend Line near Ausable Road in the Municipality of North Middlesex, for the report of a single vehicle collision. Investigation revealed a single vehicle left the roadway and entered the ditch. There were no injuries reported.
As a result, a 46-year-old of Strathroy, has been charged under the Criminal Code with: Operation while impaired - Alcohol, Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on November 6, 2025.

SINGLE VEHICLE COLLISION LEADS TO IMPAIRED CHARGE
MIDDLESEX CENTRE - Driver facing Impaired driving charge after vehicle leaves road, enters ditch and collides with hydro pole. On October 12, 2025, at 11:18 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to Medway Road near Richmond Street in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre, for the report of a single vehicle collision.
Investigation revealed a single vehicle left the roadway, entered the ditch and collided with a hydro pole.
There were no serious injuries reported. As a result, a 20-year-old of Ilderton, has been charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act and Liquor Licence Control Act with: Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus), Driver - fail to properly wear seat belt, Novice driver - B.A.C. above zero, Having care or control of a motor vehicle with liquor readily available.
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on December 9, 2025.
