MIDDLESEX CENTRE - MCA is proud to share the news that our very own Carol Small, Past Chair and Current Volunteer is the recipient of this year’s Robert Crawford Community Service Award from the Ontario Genealogical Society.
Carol has volunteered for countless community initiatives in Middlesex County, but none seem to be so close to her heart as heritage and rural heritage preservation. A former board member of Fanshawe Pioneer Village, Women in Support of Agriculture, Ilderton Agricultural Society and current board chair of the Committee to Establish a Middlesex County Archives (CEMCA), Carol’s volunteer hours each year number in the thousands. Carol is determined to succeed at whatever she sets her mind to, and she’s rarely proven wrong!
In her spare time, Carol is an avid genealogist and historian. And she’s always a proud grandmother!
Congratulations, Carol!
