SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX - Bring Dad and Grandpa out on June 16, from 1:30-5:00 p.m., for a trip down our local literary path and get to know Peter McArthur.

Who was this local writer that became famous across Canada? He was a friend of the Prime Minister and all the paparazzi of the days before radio, TV, and the Internet.

McArthur had an illustrious career in New York City and London, England, before returning to the family homestead to farm, write, and care for his wife and children. Here is where he finally found his audience in the day when people read newspapers. And they loved Peter McArthur’s reports from the farm during an important time in Canada’s history.

Look for his timeless books on the Faded Page website where you can download his books for free.
