Trevor Collver, a well-known local race car driver, was a star attraction. Fans had the chance to meet him and see his #1 Inventory Express Chevrolet Camaro up close. His presence brought excitement to the auto enthusiasts in attendance.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was the central event of the day. Quadro Board of Directors, Anne MacNeill, Remco Brinke, Stew Slater, and Russ Barker; Quadro CEO & General Manager Darryl Evans; and Cathy Burghardt-Jesson, Mayor of Lucan Biddulph, were present in the ceremony.
“Council, staff and all the residents of Lucan Biddulph welcome you back to Lucan! Quadro Communications, you have always been a part of our community. It seems like forever, but to have this store here really means a lot to the community,” said Mayor Burghardt-Jesson. “We are happy to have you. And so, on behalf of the township, congratulations on the grand opening and on 100 years!” she added.
Quadro Communications, originally established as the Blanshard Municipal Telephone System in 1924, has grown to become a key provider of high-speed internet, television, cellular, and phone services. The new location is a significant step in their ongoing commitment to enhancing service delivery and community engagement.
