This year, I have been working hard to represent the people of Lambton-Kent-Middlesex as your federal representative in Canada’s Parliament.
I am sure you have all seen or heard of the mess that has become of our government this December, and I wish I could say I was surprised.
Ceaseless corruption and incompetence can only go so far, and Canadians have said they have had enough!
Common Sense Conservatives like me want to bring home Canada’s promise that hard work earns powerful paycheques that buy affordable homes in safe neighbourhoods.
That is why I am championing realistic measures to make life more affordable for everyone. I know that if we get rid of the NDP-Liberals and make Pierre Poilievre Canada’s next Prime Minister, life will get better.
I am working to Axe the Tax – lowering the cost of gas for your car, and home heating. But, did you know the carbon tax impacts more than those two things alone? It also raises the cost of food and goods by punishing farmers, truck drivers, distributors, and everyone across the supply chain! It has to go!
I am working to Build the Homes – It is no secret that housing is scarce and unaffordable, but why? The NDP-Liberals have mismanaged development funding, and bogged things down with costly red-tape. They have brought in more home buyers and did nothing to increase housing supply. Conservatives will fix this. We will cut the red tape, fire the gatekeepers, cut development taxes, and get more new homes built quickly.
I am working to Fix the Budget – This year alone the NDP-Liberals spent $62 billion of money that Canada doesn’t have, adding to our over $1.2 trillion national debt. The Liberals have lost control, and with the Finance Minister resigning, and many Liberal MPs expressing they no longer want to serve under Prime Minister Trudeau or are declaring they simply will not run again next election. Conservatives won’t break the bank. We will fix the budget and introduce a dollar-for-dollar rule to only use the money we save!
I am working to Stop the Crime – Over the past 9 years violent crime has increased nearly 50% and drug deaths are up 184%. Why? Because the NDP-Liberals have enacted dangerous catch and release bail policies and have encouraged decriminalizing hard drugs. Recently, the Chief of the London Police Service confirmed that Trudeau’s taxpayer-funded hard drug program has been an utter failure.
The Solution is simple. Electing a Common-Sense Conservative government will end the crime and chaos. We will bring home safe streets by repealing Bills C-75 and C-5, ending the Liberal soft-on-crime approach, so repeat, violent criminals are taken off the street. We will end Trudeau’s failed taxpayer-funded hard drug programs and ban hard drugs. And we will close dangerous government-funded drug dens that are located in close proximity to families and schools, under section 56.1 of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. I am working to make Canada a place we can all be proud to call home!
