INVESTIGATION LEADS TO CHARGES
MIDDLESEX CENTRE- Individual from Middlesex Centre facing charges. On February 11, 2025, at 7:09 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to an address on Cook Road in in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre for an individual who had placed numerous calls to police in a short period of time. As police arrived on scene and individual with an aggressive dog became assaultive toward police.
As a result, a 42-year-old of Middlesex Centre, has been charged under the Criminal Code with: Assault A Peace Officer with a weapon, Resist Peace Officer, Harassing Communications. The accused was held for bail.

INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE INVESTIGATION RESULTS IN CHARGES
LUCAN BIDDULPH - Historical intimate partner investigation leads to charges. On February 13, 2025, at 12:01 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) initiated an after-the-fact, intimate partner assault investigation in Lucan Biddulph. As a result, a 40-year-old of Middlesex County, has been charged under the Criminal Code with: Sexual Assault (five counts), Forcible Confinement
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a future date to speak to the charges.

INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE INVESTIGATION RESULTS IN CHARGES
NORTH MIDDLESEX - Domestic assault investigation in North Middlesex, results in charges. On February 28, 2025, at 2:00 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to an address in North Middlesex, for the report of an after-the fact assault.
As a result, a 21-year-old of Milton has been charged under the Criminal Code with: Assault Cause Bodily Harm - Choke, suffocate or strangle (three counts), Uttering Threats - Cause death or Bodily Harm, Assault - Spousal
The accused was held for bail.

INTIMATE PARTNER INVESTIGATION RESULTS IN CHARGES
ADELAIDE METCALFE - Middlesex County OPP charge individual following Intimate partner violence investigation.
On February 24, 2025, at 10:07 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to an address in Adelaide Metcalfe, for the report of an intimate partner complaint.
As a result, a 46-year-old of Elgin County, has been charged under the Criminal Code with: Criminal Harassment - repeatedly communicate
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a future date to speak to the charges.

OPP RIDE PROGRAM LEADS TO IMPAIRED BY DRUG CHARGE
MIDDLESEX CENTRE - Driver facing charges after traffic stop at OPP Ride Program in Middlesex Centre.
On February 25, 2025, at 12:14 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were performing a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) Program on Glendon Drive in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre.
A vehicle entered the RIDE Program at which time a traffic stop was initiated.
The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment. As a result, a 19-year-old of London has been charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with: Operation while impaired - drugs, Novice driver - presence of drug
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on March 25, 2025.

TWO-VEHICLE COLLISION LEADS TO IMPAIRED CHARGE
ADELAIDE METCALFE - Driver facing impaired charge after two-vehicle collision sends one driver to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. On March 5, 2025, at 7:26 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex-London Paramedic Service and Adelaide Metcalfe Fire were dispatched to Egremont Drive in Adelaide Metcalfe for the report of a two-vehicle collision.
One involved driver was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and the other driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.
As a result, a 36-year-old of Forest has been charged under the Criminal Code with: Operation while impaired - Alcohol, Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on May 1, 2025.
