TWO-VEHICLE COLLISION INVOLVING OPP CRUISER
LUCAN BIDDULPH - Middlesex County OPP investigating a two-vehicle collision involving an OPP cruiser. On January 31, 2025, at 7:45 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to Elginfield Road in Lucan Biddulph, for the report of a two-vehicle collision between a passenger vehicle and an OPP cruiser. There were no injuries reported and both vehicles sustained minor damage. A 29-year-old of London was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with fail to yield to traffic on a through highway.
SNOWMOBILE COLLISION SENDS TWO INDIVIDUALS TO HOSPITAL
SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX - Middlesex County OPP investigating a snowmobile collision that sent two individuals to hospital in Southwest Middlesex. On Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 11:47 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex London Paramedic Service (EMS), and Southwest Middlesex fire were dispatched to an address on Longwoods Road in the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex for the report of a single snowmobile collision on private property.
As a result of the collision, the driver was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The passenger was also transported to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team attended the scene to assist with the investigation. The investigation is continuing.
INVESTIGATION LEADS TO CHARGES
MIDDLESEX CENTRE - Individual from Middlesex Centre facing charges. On February 11, 2025, at 7:09 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to an address on Cook Road in in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre for an individual who had placed numerous calls to police in a short period of time. As police arrived on scene and individual with an aggressive dog became assaultive toward police.
As a result, a 42-year-old of Middlesex Centre, has been charged under the Criminal Code with: Assault A Peace Officer with a weapon, Resist Peace Officer, Harassing Communications. The accused was held for bail.

SEARCH WARRANTS RESULT IN DRUG TRAFFICKING CHARGES
HURON COUNTY / MIDDLESEX COUNTY - Two individuals are facing drug trafficking charges after search warrants were executed in Huron and Middlesex Counties.
On January 14, 2025, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Huron-Perth Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), the Elgin-Middlesex OPP CSCU, Brant-Oxford OPP CSCU, OPP Canine, OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), and Huron County OPP detachment executed search warrants at two locations; one at an address on Victoria Street West in Exeter, Huron County and the other on William Street in Lucan, Middlesex County.
The search warrants resulted in the seizure of just under $44,000 worth of illicit drugs, including suspected cocaine and opioids. Additionally, $16,290 in Canadian currency, and $170 in U.S. currency was seized. Other offence-related property valued at approximately $2,100 was seized as part of the investigation.
A 46 year old from South Huron, has been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking - Opioids.
The accused was processed, and later released with a court appearance scheduled in the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich on February 24, 2025.
A 40 year old from Lucan-Biddulph Township, has also been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking - Cocaine.
The accused was processed and held for a bail hearing where they were remanded into custody with a court appearance scheduled in the Ontario Court of Justice - London.
INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE INVESTIGATION RESULTS IN CHARGES
ADELAIDE METCALFE - Middlesex County OPP charge individual following Intimate partner violence investigation.
On February 9, 2025, at 2:43 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to an address in Adelaide Metcalfe, for the report of a disturbance.
As a result, a 35-year-old of Middlesex County, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
Uttering Threats - Cause death or Bodily Harm-Spousal
Assault - Spousal (two counts)
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a future date to speak to the charges.

COLLISION IN THAMES CENTRE LEADS TO IMPAIRED CHARGE
THAMES CENTRE - Driver charged with Impaired after single-vehicle collision on Gore Road in Thames Centre. On February 6, 2025, at 8:44 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to Gore Road at Richmond Street in Thames Centre for report of a single vehicle collision.
The driver was located not far from the scene of the collision on foot, was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.
As a result, a 56-year-old of London has been charged under the Criminal Code with: Operation while impaired - alcohol, Failure or refusal to comply with demand
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on March 17, 2025.
There were no injuries reported.
