GLENCOE - Each year the Kiwanis Club of Rodney partners with the Staples store in Strathroy to raise funds for schools in our area which have families and students in need, as part of the Back-to-School program, raising a percentage of all sales during that period for programs and supplies.
In past years, several Strathroy schools, Aldborough Public School, and last year, Mosa P.S. have received such a donation. This year’s recipient is Eckoe P.S. in Glencoe. Staples representative Jessica Regimbal once again brought a cheque and some gifts for the school, which was presented to students and staff, with Rodney Kiwanians Larry Schneider, Staple/Kiwanis project Chair, and Sharon Little, President Elect of the Club being present, to celebrate this donation of $2044.90! Kiwanis Clubs – serving youth in our communities.
