THEFT COMPLAINT LEADS TO CHARGES FOR TWO INDIVIDUALS
MIDDLESEX CENTRE - Theft complaint leads to charges for two individuals. On July 19, 2025, at 11:50 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a business at 24303 Highbury Avenue North in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre, for a theft complaint.
Investigation revealed two individuals entered the business and proceeded to steal alcohol, prior to fleeing the area in a vehicle. Officers patrolled for the vehicle, however, were met with negative results.
At approximately 3:14 a.m., members of the Middlesex County OPP were dispatched to Egremont Drive in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre, just west of Lobo, for the report of a single vehicle collision. Two individuals were observed walking from the vehicle and entering on to a residential property in the area. They were placed under arrest.
As a result, a 28-year-old of Windsor has been charged under the Criminal Code with: Operation while impaired - alcohol, Failure or refusal to comply with demand, Trespassing at Night, Failure to comply with undertaking
As a result, a 31-year-old of London has been charged under the Criminal Code with: Trespassing at Night, Obstruct Peace Officer, Public Mischief, Failure to comply with undertaking, Theft Under $5000- SHOPLIFTING
The accused were held for bail.

TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO IMPAIRED CHARGE
SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX- Driver facing impaired charge after traffic stop. On August 3, 2025, at 1:02 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on general patrol on Longwoods Road in the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex, observed a suspicious vehicle, at which time a traffic stop was initiated. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.
As a result, a 20-year-old of Chatham, has been charged under the Criminal Code with: Operation while impaired - alcohol, Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on August 28, 2025.

VEHICLE INTO DITCH LEADS TO IMPAIRED CHARGE
MIDDLESEX CENTRE- Driver charged with Impaired after vehicle leaves roadway and enters ditch On August 4, 2025, at 3:01 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex London Paramedic Service and Middlesex Centre Fire were dispatched to Bodkin Road in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre, for the report of a vehicle that left the roadway and entered the ditch.
The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP Detachment. As a result, a 47-year-old of Komoka has been charged under the Criminal Code with: Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on September 24, 2025.

DISTURBANCE RESULTS IN CHARGES
MIDDLESEX CENTRE- Disturbance results in charges for multiple individuals. On August 9, 2025, at 4:55 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a disturbance involving multiple individuals, at a residence on Fanshawe Park Road West in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre. Investigation revealed there was an altercation between multiple individuals after a dispute over the private sale of a vehicle. One involved person received minor injuries as a result.
A 21-year-old, a 20-year-old and a 22-year-old, all of London have been charged under the Criminal Code with: Assault
The accused have been released from police custody and are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on September 4, 2025. Further investigation revealed a firearm was observed during the altercation.
As a result, a 26-year-old of Windsor, has been charged under the Criminal Code with: Possession of imitation weapon for Dangerous Purpose, Carrying concealed weapon, Poss of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order (two counts), Fail to Comply with Probation Order (two counts)
The accused was held for bail.
