BREAK AND ENTER REPORTED IN DELAWARE
MIDDLESEX CENTRE- Daytime break and enter in Delaware, Middlesex Centre. On August 9, 2024, at 5:24 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to an address on Pleasant Street in Delaware, Middlesex Centre, for the report of a break and enter and theft. It was determined an unknown individual(s) entered an attached garage on the property at approximately 4:40 p.m., on August 9, 2024. The suspect then entered the house and proceeded to steal approximately $1,400 in miscellaneous items prior to fleeing the area.The investigation is continuing.

TRAFFIC STOP RESULTS IN MULTIPLE CHARGES
STRATHROY-CARADOC - Routine traffic stop leads to multiple charges for driver. On August 11, 2024, at 4:06 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on general patrol, observed a suspicious vehicle on Head Street North, while travelling through Strathroy in Strathroy-Caradoc. A traffic stop was initiated. As a result, a 50-year-old of Adelaide Metcalfe, has been charged under the Criminal Code and the Highway Traffic Act with: Operation While Prohibited under the Criminal Code (two counts), Driving while under suspension (five counts). The accused has been released from police custody and is and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on September 24, 2024, to speak to the charges.

MOTORCYCLE STOLEN FROM RESIDENCE IN MIDDLESEX CENTRE
MIDDLESEX CENTRE - Police investigating theft of motorcycle in Delaware, Middlesex Centre.On August 17, 2024, at 8:50 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to an address on John Street in Delaware, Middlesex Centre, for the report of a stolen motorcycle. It was determined an unknown individual(s) entered the property sometime during the overnight hours and proceeded to steal a 2001, bronze with grey primer on the fairings, Suzuki Kanata motorcycle. INVESTIGATORS SEEKING PUBLIC ASSISTANCE IN ROBBERY INVESTIGATION
MIDDLESEX CENTRE - Police seeking assistance from members of the public in robbery investigation.On August 16, 2024, at 8:45 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a business at 22949 Highbury Avenue North in Middlesex Centre, for the report of a robbery and assault. Investigation revealed approximately nine individuals who are believed to be teenagers, entered the store, assaulted staff and proceeded to steal approximately $2,000 worth of alcohol, prior to fleeing the area in two separate vehicles. Injuries were determined to be minor and did not require medical attention.The Middlesex County Crime Unit are seeking individuals who may have been in the area at the time that observed suspicious vehicles or people, or live in the area and have video surveillance, to please call the Middlesex County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE LEADS TO TRAFFICKING CHARGES
NORTH MIDDLESEX - Suspicious vehicle results in police locating and arresting three individuals, including two who were wanted from another police service. On August 16, 2024, at 8:53 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Lambton County OPP, were dispatched to an address on William Street East in Parkhill, North Middlesex, for the report of a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle left the scene prior to police arrival, however returned a short time later. A traffic stop was initiated. Investigation revealed the driver was wanted out of Sarnia from a previous occurrence and was placed under arrest without incident. A quantity of illicit drugs was observed inside the vehicle, at which time the passenger was placed under arrest without incident. A third individual, a 21-year-old of no fixed address, was located in the residence and was placed under arrest as they were also wanted out of Sarnia.Police seized just over 50 grams of illicit drugs from the vehicle, suspected to be methamphetamine.
As a result, the driver, a 25-year-old of Corunna and a 40-year-old passenger of Parkhill, have been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with: Poss of a Schedule I Substance - Methamphetamine, Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin). The accused were released from police custody and are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on September 27, 2024.
MOTORCYCLE STOLEN FROM RURAL PROPERTY IN NORTH MIDDLESEX
NORTH MIDDLESEX - Police investigating theft of motorcycle in North Middlesex. On August 20, 2024, at 11:45 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to an address on Creamery Road in North Middlesex, for the report of a stolen motorcycle. It was determined an unknown individual(s) entered the property sometime during the morning hours, between 8:00 and 11:00 a.m., and proceeded to steal a 2014, green and black, Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle. The investigation is continuing.
