It is my understanding that he was selected from a field of highly qualified and experienced candidates. There is a great deal of change on the horizon for this service. New programs are being developed, new technologies are being implemented, and the complexities of the healthcare system are always evolving. I am confident that Mr. Bennett’s experience as a front-line paramedic as well as his tenure as Deputy Chief will serve him well in navigating challenges present and future. We in the union hope to foster and maintain a productive and collaborative working relationship with Mr. Bennett and his team as he assumes his new station.”
As MLPS embarks on this next phase of its evolution, we remain committed to focusing on key areas such as operational and employee service supports, organizational culture, and facilities enhancement. These efforts, combined with Adam’s leadership and excellent senior leadership team, will ensure that MLPS not only meets the required provincial standards but also sets new benchmarks in the delivery of emergency medical services.
