OVERNIGHT BREAK & ENTER REPORTED IN ADELAIDE METCALFE
ADELAIDE METCALFE - Middlesex County OPP investigating overnight break and enter in Thames Centre. On October 7, 2024, at 8:39 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a residence on Pike Road in Adelaide Metcalfe, for the report of a break and enter. Investigation revealed an unknown individual(s) forced entry to an outbuilding on the property through the side door and proceeded to steal a chainsaw. The investigation is continuing.

SEARCH WARRANT RESULTS IN DRUG TRAFFICKING CHARGES
NORTH MIDDLESEX - Two individuals facing drug trafficking charges after search warrant executed in North Middlesex. On October 3, 2024, members of the Elgin-Middlesex Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), the Oxford-Brant and Lambton CSCU, OPP Canine, OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), executed a search warrant at a residence on Creamery Road in North Middlesex. CSCU members recovered just under $9,000 worth of illicit drugs and Canadian currency.
A 35-year-old of North Middlesex, has been charged under the Criminal Code and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with: Poss of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order, Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking - Cocaine, Poss of a Schedule III substance for the purpose of Trafficking, Poss of a Schedule IV substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, Poss of a Schedule III Substance. The accused was held for bail.
A 48-year-old of No Fixed Address, has been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with: Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking - Cocaine, Poss of a Schedule III substance for the purpose of Trafficking, Poss of a Schedule IV substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, Poss of a Schedule III Substance. The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on November 1, 2024, to speak to the charges.
OPP INVESTIGATE TWO-VEHICLE COLLISION
SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX - Five individuals were transported to a local hospital following a two-vehicle collision in the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex. On October 17, 2024, at approximately 7:35 a.m., emergency services including members the Middlesex Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two-vehicle collision near the intersection of Melbourne Road and Glendon Drive.The collision involved two passenger vehicles, one with four occupants and the other with a lone driver. All vehicle occupants were transported by EMS to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. For protection of emergency responders and to facilitate the investigation Melbourne Road is closed between Parkhouse Drive and Falconbridge Drive, as well as Glendon Drive between Springfield Road and Glen Oak Road.
