SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE LEADS TO ARRESTS
MIDDLESEX CENTRE- Suspicious vehicle leads to charges for two individuals. On October 22, 2024, at 7:57 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to an address on Eight Mile Road in Middlesex Centre, for the report of a suspicious vehicle. As officers arrived on scene, the vehicle struck two cruisers and sped off through a field. It was determined the vehicle had previously been reported stolen from the City of London.Shortly after, the suspect vehicle was involved in a single vehicle collision on Medway Road. One individual was placed under arrest at scene and one fled on foot. Members of the OPP Canine Unit and Emergency Response Team (ERT) were dispatched to assist.
As a result, a 31-year-old of London was arrested at scene and has been charged under the Criminal Code with: Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 - in Canada
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in London on December 17, 2024.
The driver was later located on foot and was arrested by police, a 36-year-old of Thames Centre has been charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with:
Dangerous operation, Flight from peace officer, Operation While Prohibited under the Criminal Code, Assault with A Weapon, Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 - in Canada, Driving while under suspension. The accused was held for bail.
The cruisers sustained minor damage and the officers were not injured.

TRANSPORT TRUCK COLLIDES WITH HOUSE IN THAMES CENTRE
THAMES CENTRE - A Transport truck collided with a house in Thames Centre resulting in roads being closed for hours.On October 23, 2024, at 3:10 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex-London Paramedic Service and Thames Centre Fire were dispatched to the intersection of Westchester Bourne at Bradley Avenue in Thames Centre for the report of a transport truck that collided with a house. A tractor trailer travelling Eastbound on Bradley Avenue, lost control and struck a house on Westchester Bourne. There were no residents inside the house at the time. As a result of the collision, the driver of the vehicle was transported to hospital with serious injuries, however, were later determined to be non-life-threatening. The roads were closed for hours as police and engineers investigated the collision. The truck has since been removed and the roads have opened. The investigation is continuing.

BREAK & ENTER TO RURAL PROPERTY IN NORTH MIDDLESEX
NORTH MIDDLESEX- Middlesex County OPP investigating a break and enter to a rural property in North Middlesex. On October 25, 2024, at 6:26 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a rural property on Cedar Swamp Road in North Middlesex for the report of a break and enter and theft. Investigation revealed an unknown individual(s) gained entry to a garage and a shop on the property some time during the overnight hours.
Tools and a dirt bike were stolen, however the value of missing items is unknown at this time.The investigation is continuing.cle occupants were transported by EMS to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. For protection of emergency responders and to facilitate the investigation Melbourne Road is closed between Parkhouse Drive and Falconbridge Drive, as well as Glendon Drive between Springfield Road and Glen Oak Road.
