THREE PEOPLE INJURED IN SERIOUS COLLISION NORTH OF LONDON
ARVA - A late night crash in Arva has sent three people to hospital. On November 30, 2024, at approximately 10:56 p.m., Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attempted to stop a motorist on Highway 4, near Croydon Drive. A collision occurred between two vehicles. As a result of the collision, three individuals were transported to hospital, two with life-threatening injuries.
STOLEN VEHICLE FROM BUSINESS IN THAMES CENTRE
THAMES CENTRE - Middlesex County OPP investigating a stolen vehicle from Thames Centre. On November 30, 2024, at 6:05 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a business at 3391 Westchester Bourne in Thames Centre for the report of a stolen vehicle. It was determined an unknown individual(s) entered the property, sometime between November 27 and November 30, 2024, and proceeded to steal a 2019, grey, Ford Mustang GT from the parking lot. The investigation is continuing.
ATV STOLEN FROM PROPERTY IN NORTH MIDDLESEX
NORTH MIDDLESEX - Police investigating theft of an ATV in North Middlesex. On December 3, 2024, at 12:08 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to an address on Mill Street in Parkhill, Municipality of North Middlesex, for the report of a stolen All Terrain Vehicle (ATV). It was determined an unknown individual(s) entered the property sometime during the overnight hours and proceeded to steal a green, 2020, Honda Rubicon 520, four-wheeled ATV. The investigation is continuing.
SINGLE VEHICLE INTO DITCH LEADS TO IMPAIRED CHARGE
MIDDLESEX CENTRE - Driver charged with Impaired after vehicle leaves road and enters ditch.On December 7, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to Glendon Drive, East of Komoka Road in Middlesex Centre, for the report of a vehicle that left the roadway and entered the ditch.The driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment. As a result, a 37-year-old of Camlachie, has been charged under the Criminal Code with: Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus). The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on January 8, 2025.
SEARCH WARRANT RESULTS IN RECOVERY OF STOLEN TRAILER
ADELAIDE METCALFE - Individual charged after search warrant executed at an address in Adelaide Metcalfe. On December 6, 2024, members of the Elgin-Middlesex Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), the Oxford-Brant and Lambton CSCU, OPP Canine, OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), executed a search warrant at a residence on Melbourne Road in Adelaide Metcalfe.
CSCU members recovered a stolen trailer, previously reported stolen out of the City of London. A 45-year-old of Adelaide Metcalfe, has been charged under the Criminal Code with: Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 - in Canada
The accused was held for bail.
