STRATHROY - Strathroy’s downtown business community is off to a fresh start with the Strathroy BIA’s newly appointed Board of Directors. With a commitment to revitalizing the heart of the town, the new Board is focused on fostering business growth, encouraging collaboration, and strengthening the downtown core.
As part of its efforts to support small businesses, the BIA has partnered with the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc, the Strathroy & District Chamber of Commerce, and the Mount Brydges Business Association for the Local First movement - an initiative aimed at promoting independent businesses and encouraging residents to shop locally.
One of the BIA’s primary focuses this term is bringing business owners together through a series of social and community events. The Board will be hosting a BIA Spring Social on April 10th from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Cookie Bar. This event is designed to provide downtown business owners with an opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and discuss ways to collaborate for mutual success.
“This is an exciting time for downtown Strathroy,” said BIA Chair Adam Rice of Elevate Baths. “We want to build stronger connections between businesses and ensure that our downtown thrives.”
Business owners within the BIA are encouraged to attend the event to meet the new Board members and learn more about upcoming initiatives. With a renewed focus on collaboration and economic growth, Strathroy’s downtown is poised for a strong and prosperous future.
