For nearly 20 years, Lisa Noble-Smith and Shannon Mitchell have been helping individuals and families throughout Strathroy and surrounding communities reconnect with the people and moments that matter most through better hearing care.
Now, the two trusted hearing professionals have opened Caradoc Hearing, an independent clinic built around a simple philosophy: Proudly local. Personally focused.
After years of working in franchised clinic environments, Lisa and Shannon decided to create something that reflected how they truly believe hearing care should feel — warm, personal, relationship-focused, and centred around people rather than corporate policies or quotas.
“We wanted to create a space where patients feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely cared for throughout their entire hearing journey,” says Lisa. “Not just during an appointment.”
As local residents themselves, both women live, work, and raise their families in the surrounding communities they serve. That local connection is at the heart of Caradoc Hearing’s approach to care.
The clinic offers hearing assessments, hearing aids, repairs and adjustments, custom hearing protection, and their CARE Program focused on ongoing aftercare and long-term support.
As Ontario celebrates Seniors Month this June, Lisa and Shannon say they’re especially grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the community they know and love.
“Hearing well helps people stay connected to conversations, friendships, family, and everyday life,” says Shannon. “We’re honoured to continue being part of that journey for so many local families.”
